July 16, '24: (12:45pm) Most peculiar. Around 9am i heard and saw (on Flightradar) these 4 planes in close formation passing just south of Leslie. They were much closer together then, and not as much in single file. I noticed what kinds of planes they were. The JBU (JetBlue) one was in front.

I shifted to another tab for a while, maybe half an hour, and when i looked back, they still showed in the same position! Because the tab had frozen up. The reason i had looked back at FlightRadar was because i heard jet noise again .

So i refreshed that page, and the planes were shown as barely having moved at all in the intervening period! And they were now single file, and much closer together than in this capture. By the time i got it together to snap a shot, the gap had widened a lot and they had moved farther west.

So why did i hear and see the same planes in the same place half an hour or so apart?

(3:15pm) Meanwhile, i have not noticed any deliberate harrassment from the USAF for some time. Not that i've returned the favor...

July 29, '24: (2:05pm) I got some 4" or so of rain early this month, and then on the 16th i had been planning to water my garden as some planters were getting slightly dry. But then i debated: there was a chance of rain in the forecast, 70%, 0.3" or so, overnight, and 0.23" on the 17th. But, it sometimes transpires that they predict a trickle and we get swamped with inches. Or vice versa.
Fortunately i decided to postpone, as too much rain in planters is not good.

So i got awakened in the middle of the night by loud thunder and lightning, and very hard rain. It knocked out power for an hour or so.

Some animal recently demolished my rain gauge and i had not replaced it yet, but i have one of those tall glass cylindrical mugs out. The morning of the 17th i checked it and it had about 4.25" in it. And due to the ferocity of the pounding rain, i presume significant amounts had gotten blown back out of the mug.

Then i checked the forecast: 2.7+ more inches on the 17th, but i only got another 3/4".
Some people around here ago a lot more off that system. I heard one claim of 14 inches!

Then this whole part of the country has had unseasonably cool weather since. Got another inch on the 22nd and 23rd.

Now it's been warming up again. Forecast is for highs in the low to mid 90s for the next 10 days, which probably means 90-ish at my cabin. Lows near 70. Mild for late July here. We have not had really hot weather yet this year.

USAF had been relatively well-behaved. A couple times they irked me with their obnoxious vibratech but they were just passing several miles away. Then just a little while ago they sent this thing directly over me. After taking off (ostensibly from Maumelle which has no airport and is several miles west of the LR AFB) they quickly oriented temselves onto a path going straight over me, according to FlightRadar.

Meanwhile i have been making more advanced orgone devices...
